Consistently the best ice cream I've ever had. My absolute favorite flavor is the Tale of Two Teas. This is a black and green tea flavored ice cream that is not only delicious, but also fairly low in calories.

The service is great and they always encourage you to try as many flavors as you'd like before ordering.

Many ice cream places have either good cones or good ice cream. Sweet alchemy has the best ice cream and best waffle cone.

I've been to Frankie and Jo's, Salt and Straw, and Husky Deli, pretty much all of the notable ice cream places in Seattle and Sweet Alchemy blows them all out of the water.

Delicious! Love that they rotate flavors every now and then so it's not the same ol' Vanilla all the time. My mom absolutely adores this place and says it's her favorite ice cream shop, ever. They have really inventive flavors (my mom just about freaked when she saw a makgeolli flavor and LOVED it) that are perfectly flavored and never too sweet.

The shop itself is tiny, but the employees are friendly and keep the line moving. It's definitely not cheap by any means, but definitely worth it for the occasional treat!

Sweet Alchemy is the closest ice cream shop to where I'm staying for two weeks so you know what that means! I've already been here twice and sampled tons of their flavors. I love that the employees are super friendly and encourage you to try many flavors. I've found a couple that I like.

However, the style of ice cream is a little too rich and sweet for my preference. I'm not one who enjoys walking into an ice cream shop that smells like sweet waffle cones and that is the strong scent you cannot avoid here.

Tonight I had a small scoop of Chai Tea Latte and it did the trick.

    Sweet Alchemy was A-Ok!

We stopped in yesterday and they weren't too busy. The staff was very friendly! They offered us as many samples as we would like.

We did try a few and we ended up getting dark chocolate and chocolate. To be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of any of the flavors we tried. I just got one b/c they were so nice with giving samples, I would feel bad not to lol

The flavors were all very mild. Nothing WOW!

Price was a little steep. I don't mind dishing dollars out on  ice cream. We each got size pico, which was like a 1/4 of a cup for $4.00. If it was good, no problem!! But it was lower case ok but they were very nice!!

Lastly, there was chunks of ice in my scoop. So just A-Ok here!

I'm not generally a sweets guy but this ice cream place is bomb. Personally I prefer it over Molly Moons.

I sampled several of their "exotic" flavors such as Persian Rose, Horchata, etc. Decided in the end to get something more tried and true - cookies and cream on a cone.

The flavor was just spot on. Wonderfully "milky / creamy" but still fluffy and not so dense. The chocolate in the cookies and cream was also very rich and delicious. Well balanced flavor. I only wish there was some crunch or more texture with the chocolate.

Price is competitive with other boutique ice cream stores at $5.50 for two scoops although for the price it would be nice if they had more tables for ppl to sit and socialize.
